Chester Lake
A Hike

Here is to blogging more personal stuff. Even if it isn’t anything mind blowing.

This past week myself and a few friends hiked up to Chester Lake. Now, this has been the not-winter so we called the information centre to be informed the trail was packed and all we needed were Yak Trax. Sure enough we made it there and back again with just some hiking shoes and grippy bits. Best part about not wearing snowshoes? Being able to slide part of the way down.

If you are in the area and want a simple hike with the family I’d highly recommend Chester Lake. The first bittage is definitely the steepest but entirely doable with some enthusiasm of throwing your hands in the air and declaring ‘we are having so much fun!’
