Banff in Black & White
Film

This post is about two things very close to my heart. The place I call home and how I prefer to explore it. Banff is my backyard and it is a place I want to discover until I can walk no more. I was discussing with someone recently why I find the mountains so fascinating and why I moved to them. In the city humans are the elements that move and change. The landscape changes with the times. In the mountains we are what come and go. Photos my grandpa and great grandfather took in the 50s I have been posting on Bill and Bruce could have been taken yesterday. A steadfast landscape that sees generations go by.

Black and white photography is my passion. I will over the next few days also be posting colour images but the black and white ones are what I wanted to share first.

Photos taken along the Bow Valley Parkway, Sulphur Mountain, and Lake Minnewanka.
