Last Chance Saloon
Wayne, AB

Staycation. That’s what I am calling the next two weeks. Good friend and ridiculously talented photographer (no seriously, go to his site) Sam Le is visiting from Texas and let me just say there is a ridiculous amount of wandering and photographing to be done.

One of my favourite places in Alberta has to be Wayne, and more specifically the Last Chance Saloon. It’s a hodge podge of randomisty from floor to ceiling.  To accompany this randomosity was the first time experience of eating pickled egg. Curious? It was like hard boiled eggs with a touch of a kick. Rained in and not much else to do at this historic gem tucked back in Drumheller accessible by crossing eleven bridges naturally what do two photographers do? Take photographs naturally.

Here they are.

<3 your photos and rather jealous of your staycation and I really want to visit the Last Chance Saloon now! You're an absolutely awesome photographer and I love every single one!

I keep landing in great little shops like this with no camera in hand. I need to just carry it with me always. Can I say, these are fantastic? Can I say, I am jealous that you both get to hang out together?

I remember this like yesterday……oh wait….it was yesterday! Good golly miss Molly, these are so fantastic, it’s like some cosmic beast came from the heaven and endowed you the powers of Zeus to show the world what you see. Just don’t go tricking people like Zeus did, that would be wrong and illegal in like 49 states (Alaska is pretty cool with it, they are ahead of the curve). <3 this and cannot wait to see more of your mesmerizing work.
