My Yesterday in Polaroids
Calgary AB

Warning: This post contains name-dropping.

What a delightful week. Met with the wonderful Stephanie at Weeds Café the day before yesterday to discuss all things random and travel and photography. She then stated after I gave her a nickel worth of advice (rest assured I charged) that she had a little something for me. I die. It was an old Polaroid Land Camera.  I am so so delighted and can not wait to play with it further! Isn’t she the best?

This morning while picking up film for the Polaroid I ran into Blair who I am sure did a rocking job seconding for my friend Blake on Saturday. Blake came down from Edmonton on Friday and together with Terence we visited the Karsh exhibit at the Glenbow Museum. Of course after all that meandering food was very much needed so we met Alicia and Amber for vermicelli and pho. It’s still a mystery as to what was in Terence’s drink but one conclusion was red beans.

Yesterday, I met Dana for coffee at Phil and Sebastian Coffee Roasters (mmmHmmmm) for a delightful chat and discussion of her upcoming family trip to Iceland (jealousy!). I then met Shelley and Daniela at Cafe Rosso for some fun little banter.

Crumb. I love my Alberta people.
