Phantogram
Victoria BC

The best part about wandering is the people you meet. My friend Kara and I were just meandering through Fernwood after having a cup of coffee when this gentleman noticed my camera as we left a small grocery store. After some normal camera banter he showed us his project – a phantogram. It is the strangest thing to put on a pair of glasses and look at what your logic tells you is a flat piece of paper that your brain tells you is a realistic three dimensional model of The Empress Hotel in Victoria. To see your hands pass through these structures that you are convinced are there is really quite an experience.

Here is Gary Greenspoon. The photographer and artist. View more about phantograms here.

Gary Greenspoon recently photographed “Memoriam for Fallen Friend”. It’s an example of 3D photography enabled by two lenses. He is professional, kind, and genuine. I recommend him.
